Freddie Dye: Go-Kart Star

Meet Freddie Dye, born on November 17 2017, the 6 year old go-kart sensation turning heads on the track. Son of former motorcycle racer Jimmy Dye, Freddie’s passion for speed is in his DNA. From meticulously parking his pedal tractor to mastering his first kart, Freddie’s talent was undeniable from the start.

Freddie's journey began with a battered 2019 Comer C50 kart, quickly progressing to a Bambino Iame 60cc. Despite limited financial resources and no professional team or trainers, Freddie's raw talent and determination have propelled him into the ranks of the fastest young racers in the country. Reaching speeds of up to 55mph, nothing seems to faze this young prodigy.

With minimal knowledge of kart setup, gearing, and tyre pressures, it's been a family effort with his dad, mum, and sister Darcey providing unwavering support. His best friend and supporter, Denzil the Rottweiler, is always by his side, bringing an extra dose of courage and companionship to Freddie's racing adventures.

His humble and hungry spirit drives him to prove his mettle against the best, currently competing in the National Superone Championship in 2024. Freddie Dye is a young racer with an incredible future ahead, and we are thrilled to support his journey to the top.
